Events

Events of Jendela Ide consist of the output of Jendela Ide workshops, discussions with children and youth, as well as the challenge to contribute to the performing arts scene and expanding networks. By presenting unique and diverse expressions as well as dialogue on various issues of tolerance, integrity, gender equality, inclusiveness, Jendela Ide presented Unity in Diversity and X-MAX – accept difference, maximize tolerance in 2007, continued with the Modjembe Stomps The Ground and Aliens in Modjembe-land multimedia theater in 2008-2009 which explores the struggle for values between people in the world of imagination.

The intense training of music groups that grew up at Jendela Ide, as well as meetings between music groups with diverse cultural backgrounds, led Jendela Ide to produce Sabuga Jazz Fest and Bandung World Jazz events which took place over a period of 5 years. In 2015, Jendela Ide co – initiated Anti-corruption Community Consortium and presented Prung, gak pakai korupsi ! as a joint movement at the local, national and Indonesian diaspora levels to socialize the values of integrity.

Based on best practice socializing values of integrity through Suara Anak (Children’s Voice) by Jendela Ide Kids and Imajinarium Multimedia Performance by Jendela Ide Youth, Jendela Ide receive the opportunity & grant from Komite Pemberantasan Korupsi (Committee for the Elimination of Corruption) to produced 30 workshops for children/ youth communities, 100 online programs and activations and a Musical Theater Play with 200 participants at Taman Ismail Marzuki, Jakarta. Furthermore, this integrity values socialization program continued until 2018 through workshops and Storytelling Festivals in Bandung.
