Jendela Ide

Jendela Ide Program orientation is based on value transformation through art and culture media, with workshops, training, literacy, cultural meetings, positive campaigns, young volunteers, exhibitions & performances, documentation with the subject being society: young people, communities and the wider public.

Residency

The residency program is intended for artists who are interested in conducting cultural research or writing/ records of their creative process accompanied by workshops/ lectures/ exhibitions/ performances. Residencies are facilitated by Jendela Ide, providing a creative, participatory, collaborative and sustainable method, as a dialogue to enrich the cultural discourses. The residency works in collaboration with Dalemwangi Art Space, Djuanda Forest Park, Common Room Networks Foundation, Babakan Bengkel Kampung Ciptagelar, etc.

Training of Trainers

The program is intended for school/community teachers/facilitators to understand culture as a medium for character building of students/participants. Based on Obyek Pemajuan Kebudayaan (Objects for the Advancement of Culture), this program is expected to be a medium for transforming values and skills, which will bring local cultural actors together with the learning community, building a collaboration for the program sustainability. Training of Trainers Program works in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Office in charge of Culture in Regencies/Cities, schools/communities, and the private sector.

Workshop & Events

Workshops/ Exhibitions/ Performances are designed to present freedom of expression, cultural diversity, values of integrity, tolerance and equality, as well as mutual cooperation to achieve common goals. Aimed especially for young people from various communities, it has become a gathering for heterogeneous cultures. The program works in collaboration with various local and international cultural institutions, various foreign embassies, government, media, universities and the private sector.

Field School

Desa Pemajuan Kebudayaan (Villages for the Advancement of Culture) Program is a program that aims to activate the ecosystem of cultural communities in villages by recognizing and narrating the potential of a cultural-based village so that it can be utilized for the welfare of the village community. To rediscover and understand traditional knowledge and technology through a learning model from sources within the indigenous people of the village itself, elders, traditional/village elders, and masters. This model has been developed into a Field School, with the principles of andragogy learning, for the local communities, based on competency and learning by doing. The Field School program works in collaboration with government institutions, communities/indigenous people/villages, mass media, universities and the private sector.

Documentation & Literacy

The Documentation of Obyek Pemajuan Kebudayaan (Objects for the Advancement of Culture) and Dissemination of Literacy Program transforms audio visual assets into documentary videos, podcast, recordings, vlogs of Obyek Pemajuan Kebudayaan (Objects for the Advancement of Culture). Through various social and conventional medias, the literacy dissemination is expected to reach a wider community. The program works in collaboration with government institutions, communities/indigenous people/villages, mass media, universities and private sectors.
